GFWC LaBelle Community Woman's Club is the local affiliate of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC). We just awarded our scholarship for this year!  Pictured left to right: Tina Noel--GFWC LaBelle secretary, Jessica Smith--scholarship winner LaBelle Community Woman's Club is very proud to award Jessica Smith our 2013 scholarship. Her commitment to the community and others was clearly demonstrated by her many projects. She gave time every summer and many weekends to help the less fortunate through her church and Girl Scouts; she is a fine example of selflessness and compassion. We wish her well in all her endeavors. We're planning a Genealogy Workshop Series for the fall of 2013. If you'd be interested in participating, please click over and take our survey so that we can gather information to help us prepare a great workshop! CLUB MEETINGS: We meet on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May at our clubhouse in LaBelle. Everyone is welcome. Membership not required to attend! Our address is 382 Hickpoochee Avenue, LaBelle, FL 33935. Meetings begin at 7:00 pm but join us at 6:30 for snacks and visiting! LIKE us on Facebook! For more information about our club and projects, please join us at a regular meeting or drop by on Tuesday morning between 9 and 11:00 am when we open the building for arts and crafts time (from the 3rd week in August through the 2nd week of June each year).
